We all have heard about ChatGPT by now, through news and social media or in some way or the other. And people already have tested it at various levels.Â
An article on substack labelled ‘ChatGPT is a Democrat‘ caught me interested to test ChatGPT further. The article summarizes the interaction, where the author provided evidence contrary to the claims of ChatGPT.
In view of that, I wanted to test and see whether it has any inherent biases. Surely, the ChatGPT is unbiased, after all, it is an Artificial Intelligence, isn’t it?
I tested for two US political leaders with different political affiliations: Donald Trump (a Republican) and Joe Biden (a Democrat).

Ok. ChatGPT is modeled not to “generate content that praises or criticizes specific individual” and also designed to “remain impartial” without “any bias“. That sounds fair!
I am sure, ChatGPT would “remain impartial” and unbiased by not offering any “praises or criticizes” Joe Biden when asked the same.

Oh! Looks likes the conversations turned out be rather self-contradictory from ChatGPT, after claiming not to “generate praises or criticizes specific individual“.
Is ChatGPT really “Impartial” and “without Bias“?
