When Was The Last Time You Did Something For The First Time?

What is the response that comes to your mind when you read that title? Do you remember any recent event? If you have to scan your memories beyond a year, do you think you are living a mundane life? A life caught up with how life dictates how you should act? A life behaviour that seems to be the same but only at different places or with different people?

Well, to begin with, there a countless activities that would come up if you give time and make a list of the things like to do. 

A tattoo? Doing extreme sports like sky diving, bungee jumping….? Going on an overseas solo trip? Experience staying in a hostel when travelling, instead of luxury hotels or resorts? Travelling to a different country for the first time? Going on a road trip across state lines? Learning a new Skill or Craft? Taking up a new sports you have never played?

Or as simple as planting a tree? Doing a charity work or donating for a cause you believe in? Saying a friendly ‘Hi’ to a complete stranger? Writing a hand written letter to love ones? Eating a completely new dish? Spending a day or weekend without being connected to the internet? Maybe even taking the first step at mending relationship? Ahh! The list is endless…. 

Blogging was something that was on my mind since late 2017 but kept procrastinating. Thanks to Covid19, here I am, 6 months into my blog of just random rants (after going through lots YouTube videos) without any course on web designing.  This site is far from perfect with its layout (but the contents certainly aren’t 😁😅) but it is a work in progress, so please bear with me.

Like the saying ‘You Only Live Once‘, next time you catch up with friends and families, have something new to share. Imagine clearing your throat and saying ‘I did something for the first time and it was …..” and fill those dotted lines with your own your story on how you want it to be written (Of course, with activities that are LEGAL).
