Remember, to spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.
– Bob Moorehead (1995)
After having walked this life for some decades, I have started to see life from a different perspective but not necessarily wiser. I now appreciate even more my near and dear ones, be more grateful of life, greet the people I meet in the neighbourhood (sometimes it is reciprocated, sometimes returned with weird looks but I can take that too), strike a random conversation with the cleaner or taxi driver (‘How are you doing?’, ‘How is/was your day?’ will suffice to start a conversation), stop by to take a pictures of dark cloudy skies or sunsets, pause to notice a tiny flower growing by the wayside or just sit and watch the people go about their daily lives. Such simple things of life that gives satisfaction to life!
